Regular Check-Ups: We will schedule your next well care visit with the physician of your choice at checkout. A reminder card will be sent approximately 10 days prior to that appointment. If for any reason, you are unable to keep the appointment, please notify us immediately so that someone else may have the appointment time. We will make every effort to reschedule your child within two weeks of the original appointment.
Grand Strand Pediatrics is not accepting new patients that choose not to vaccinate their children
It is also important that we have a current telephone number so that we can call and remind you the day before the appointment.
Please understand that if you are going to be more then 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment or ask you to wait until those patients who arrive on time are seen first.
Sick Appointments: When a sick child needs to be seen, we see them the same day. A next day appointment can be made but keep in mind that your child might be very uncomfortable with whatever is bothering him/her and could result in a more serious condition by waiting and keep you awake overnight.
We ask that if your child feels well enough not to need us prior to his/her scheduled appointment, please call the office and cancel the appointment
Insurance & Billing
Major insurances are accepted. Before scheduling an appointment for well care, please contact your carrier regarding coverage and benefits. Unfortunately, there are many carriers that do not cover well visits or immunizations.
Please bring the child’s insurance card to each visit.
Copayments, deductibles and other amounts owed are payable at the time services are rendered.
We accept Visa and Mastercard (debit & credit). We also accept travelers checks, cash, money orders and personal check with a valid drivers license.
